The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) serves as the congestion management agency for Solano County and is responsible for coordinating countywide transportation plans, programs and projects under a Joint Powers Authority among the Cities and County of Solano. The agency also manages the rideshare programs for Napa and Solano Counties, and allocates various federal, state and regional transportation funds.

College Interns will provide technical and administrative support to STA’s Planning, Projects, or Programs Department as specified in the job announcement The intern will spend 6 months to 1 year as an intern.
• Programs Interns will support Solano Sustainable Transportation Equity Project (SolSTEP) in Vallejo, CA.
• Planning Interns will support the Planning Department in implementing a wide variety of short- and long-range transportation and land use plans; and support Safe Routes to School Department implement its wide range of programs, activities and events.
• Projects Interns will support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager in the delivery of capital projects.
