The City of Fairfield is currently in the process of widening Vanden Road between Peabody Road and Canon Road. All construction activities on the north side of Vanden Road are complete. This component of Fairfield’s infrastructure phase will alleviate traffic congestion from the I-80 system and improve intercounty mobility, connecting with previous and future phases throughout the county.
Upon completion, this project will connect to Phases 1A, 1B, and 1C in Vacaville, Phases 2B and 2C in Fairfield, and other previous and future phases of this multi-jurisdictional project.
