UPDATE:
Nightly Overnight Lane Closure on Westbound I-80 Carquinez (Alfred
Zampa) Bridge in the cities of Vallejo and Crockett
Schedule: Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. the next morning
SOLANO/CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES — Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. the next morning, Caltrans construction will be closing two lanes for crews to complete cleaning drainage inlets, crack treatments, and micro surfacing.
Friday nights work from Friday, Sept. 18, is not complete as of yet and will require two more nights of lane reduction.
Work will continue on Thursday, Sept. 24, starting 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning. Completion is expected on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Work will consist of crack seal treatment, fog seal, and diamond markings along the HOV lane.
