The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) and City of Suisun City jointly developed a plan to implement the Suisun City Mobility Hub Project.  This Project supplements the existing parking facility adjacent to the Suisun-Fairfield Amtrak Station and supports the City’s micro-transit service strategy identified in its 2022 Community Based Transportation Plan.  The new mobility hub will provide a secure location to house the City’s micro-transit vehicles.  Additionally, the hub will address the City’s need for additional public parking and electric charging facilities.  This is also where the STA will securely house its Vehicle Share Program vehicles.

The STA is taking the lead in constructing the Project and work commenced in September 2021 when the STA Board approved programming the funding needed to complete the Project.  The STA and City of Suisun City have jointly secured and committed the funding needed.  The construction of the mobility hub is anticipated to be completed in December 2024.
