I-80 Six Bridges Project:
I-80 Overnight Highway Closure Between I-780 and State Route 37 in Vallejo:
WB I-80 Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM
EB I-80 Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11:59 PM to 5:00 AM

(I-80 WB/EB to be closed from Red Top Road to I-680 connector ramp)

SOLANO COUNTY – Caltrans has scheduled a full overnight closure of westbound Interstate 80 in Vallejo on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM on Monday, June 20, 2022, and a full overnight closure of eastbound Interstate 80 in Vallejo on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11:59 PM until 5:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, crews will be working on the vertical clearance on Redwood Street overcrossing (Location No. 6 on the map).

I-80 will be completely closed in one direction at a time for two consecutive nights to raise the bridge spans on Redwood Street overcrossing. A detour will be in place.

During the I-80 closure times, eastbound or westbound I-80 on ramps in Vallejo will be closed as needed to facilitate the work safely.

Detour signs will be posted.

WB/EB I-80 Detours:
Motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 will need to access I-780 to State Route 29 to State Route 37 back onto EB I-80. Motorists traveling westbound on I-80 will need to take State Route 37 to State Route 29 to I-780 to WB I-80.

A 24-hr shuttle service will be available for pedestrians and bicyclists who need to safely cross Redwood Street overcrossing. One shuttle stop will be located on each side of the bridge.

SB I-680 Connector and Green Valley Road Exit From Eastbound I-80
Closed Overnight During Two Consecutive Nights
Closures Start 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2022

SOLANO COUNTY – As part of the I-80/I-680/SR-12 Interchange Project in Fairfield, Caltrans has scheduled two consecutive nights of overnight closures of the eastbound (EB) I-80 Green Valley Road Exit, the EB I-80 connector ramp to southbound (SB) I-680 and the eastbound SR-12 connector to eastbound I-80.

Caltrans will close the EB I-80 Green Valley Road Exit on Tuesday, April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 at 7:00 PM both nights until 5:00 AM the following mornings.

The EB I-80 connector to southbound I-680 will be closed Tuesday, April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 at 8:00 PM both nights until 4:00 AM the following mornings.

The eastbound SR-12 connector to eastbound I-80 will also be closed on Tuesday, April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 at 8:00 PM both nights until 5:00 AM the following mornings.

Caltrans continues construction of transition lanes at the I-80/I-680/SR-12 Interchange. Detours will be clearly marked. All work is weather- permitting.

EB I-80 Green Valley Road Exit-Detour Route:
• Continue on EB I-80 past the Green Valley Road exit.
• From EB I-80, take the Suisun Valley Road exit
• Make an immediate right onto Pittman Road.
• Continue on Pittman Road.
• Right onto Cordelia Road.
• Then Right on Lopes Road.
• Continue on Lopes Road until it becomes Green Valley Road.

EB I-80 Connector to SB I-680 CLOSURE-Detour Route:
• Continue on EB I-80 past the SB I-680 connector exit.
• Exit EB I-80 at Chadbourne Road.
• Left on Chadbourne Road.
• Continue on Chadbourne Road over the overcrossing.
• Left onto WB I-80 from Chadbourne Road.
• Continue on WB I-80.
• From WB I-80, exit onto SB I-680.

SOLANO COUNTY – Caltrans will perform a 10-hour full Interstate 80 overnight closure near the City of Fairfield, as part of the Interstate 80/Interstate 680/State Route 12 Interchange Project, which will demolish the old existing eastbound SR-12 to eastbound I-80 connector bridge.
Crews will remove the existing bridge spans of the EB SR-12 to EB I-80 connector bridge.
The full closure will begin at 11:00 PM on Saturday, Dec. 4, until 9:00 AM on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021.

INTERSTATE 80 WB/EB DETOUR INFORMATION:
Westbound I-80 travelers: Motorists traveling westbound will need to enter onto the I-680 connector ramp and travel southbound to connect to I-780 (Curtola Parkway) back onto I-80 while the overnight closures are in place.
Eastbound I-80 travelers: Motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 will need to exit Red Top Road onto Lopes Road back and follow the detour back onto the I-80 EB on-ramp.

There won’t be access through the closure with the bridge coming down.

Caltrans will utilize flaggers, as well as overhead and portable changeable message signs, alerting motorists of the detour and potential delays which are expected to be approximately 30-45 minutes.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.

One-Way Traffic Control Scheduled on WB State Route 37 at Skaggs Island Road, Solano County to State Route 121, Sonoma County starting at 8:30 P.M., Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021

SOLANO COUNTY – Caltrans has scheduled overnight road work to take place on westbound State Route 37 between Skaggs Island Road to State Route 121 intersection on Thursday, November 18, 2021 starting at 8:30 PM.
Crews will be performing overnight emergency paving operations and road work along the SR-37 corridor.
For the safety of workers and motorists, one-way traffic control will be in place from State Route 37 at Skaggs Island Road to State Route 121 (Sears Point) intersection on Thursday, November 18, 2021 starting at 8:30 PM-6:00 AM, Friday, November 19, 2021.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and to use an alternate route.

Closure scheduled for State Route 37 at Fairgrounds Drive off-ramp in Vallejo starting Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. for Clean California event
(Temporary off-ramp closure will be in effect from 10:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M.)

SOLANO COUNTY – Caltrans will be performing a scheduled ramp closure on eastbound State Route 37 at Fairgrounds Drive off-ramp near Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo.

For the safety of workers and motorists, EB SR-37 at Fairground Drive off-ramp will be closed starting at 10:00 AM-12:00 P.M. due to a Clean California Litter Day event.

Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute.

A full overnight closure of westbound of I-80 in Vallejo will begin on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:59 PM until 7:00 AM on Sunday, November 7, 2021
(Location No. 2 on the map). This closure is dependent on weather conditions and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Starting 7:30 PM on Monday, November 15, 2021

SOLANO COUNTY – Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays as crews will be working on the I-80/I-680/ State Route 12 Interchange Project near the City of Fairfield in Solano County starting at 7:30 PM, Monday, November 15, 2021.
Crews will be working overnight on final preparations of the newly built EB SR-12 connector ramp, which will be ready to use for the traveling public by 5:30 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Crews will be paving and stripping needed to open the new alignment to traffic.

SR 12 EB at Red Top Road:
For the safety of workers and motorists, EB SR-12 at Red Top Road will be closed overnight on Monday, November 15, 2021 starting at 7:30 PM-5:30 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Motorists traveling EB on SR-12 will be detoured onto Red Top Road to connect to EB I-80.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays.
This closure is dependent on weather conditions and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
