Nighttime Lane Closures and On/Off-Ramp Lane Closures of Various Locations on Interstate 80 (I-80) in Vallejo City, Solano County

Starting Wednesday September 16, 2026, from 08:00 P.M. to 05:00 A.M. the following morning.

SOLANO COUNTY  – Caltrans Construction will be continuing the Trash Capture Project that requires nighttime lane closures of multiple locations. Closures will occur nightly starting on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 08:00 P.M. to 05:00 A.M. the following day until paving completes Saturday Morning, Sept. 19.

This project consists of trash capture system installation, which helps stop trash from going out into water sources. It also entails updates of guardrails and construction of mainline pull outs for maintenance vehicles, and erosion control.

• Off-Ramp Eastbound (EB) Route 37 to EB Columbus/Auto Mall Parkway
• On-Ramp EB/Westbound (WB) Magazine Street to EB I-80
• Connector EB I-80 to WB 780/Curtola
• Single Lane closure on Springs Road to Georgia Road
• Off- Ramp WB I-80 to EB Tennessee Street
• On-Ramp WB Tennessee Street to WB I-80
• Single Lane closure WB Redwood St. to Redwood Parkway
• Connector EB Route 780 to WB I- 80

Thursday – September 17:

• Off-Ramp Eastbound (EB) Route 37 to EB Columbus/Auto Mall Parkway
• On-Ramp EB/Westbound (WB) Magazine Street to EB I-80
• Connector EB I-80 to WB 780/Curtola
• Single Lane closure on Springs Road to Georgia Road
