SOLANO COUNTY/NORTH VALLEJO – The State Route 84 (SR-84) “Real McCoy II Ferry” is currently out of service due to mechanical issues with the vessel’s engine.
The ferry has been inspected and experts determined the vessel’s thruster box needs to be replaced. Caltrans estimates the Real McCoy will be out of service through Friday, Feb. 28.
Caltrans regrets any inconvenience this may cause for residents and motorists who use the ferry to access Ryer Island and the Sacramento Delta.
