The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) invites your firm to submit a proposal to conduct a study for the Solano County Routes of Regional Significance in support of an update to the Comprehensive Transportation Plan.

The RFP describes the project, presents the requirements of the proposal and outlines the criteria that will be used to evaluate the proposal. Qualified firms are invited to submit four (4) hard copies and one (1) digital copy (via flash drive) of your proposal to the STA office no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, August 14, 2023, addressed to:

Note that this deadline is firm, and late submittals will not be accepted. Questions regarding this RFP are due on Friday, August 4, 2023, by 4:00PM to Leslie Gould, Assistant Project Manager, lgould@sta.ca.gov. The questions
and answers are scheduled to be published on STA’s website by Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
The STA has adopted a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal that encourages the hiring of registered disadvantaged businesses, which can be found at https://sta.ca.gov/work-with-sta/procurement-opportunities/. This project utilized federal funds, and the anticipated goal for DBE firms for the project is 6%.
The STA has adopted a Local Preference Policy that encourages the hiring of local firms. While there is no adopted goal for the project, firms are still encouraged to utilize the services of local firms in the preparation of a response to this RFP. The STA has prepared a database of contact information for local firms for convenience purposes only and without guarantees as to the ability of such firms to provide the services.
